Post Holiday Style

I love decorating for the Holidays! Love it! It starts on the front porch with lights, greens, and blankets and then moves inside! fraiser Fir scented candles, vases filled with ornaments, greens, and mercury trees on the mantle. All that being said, come January 1, I am ready for all of it to be gone. I do not enjoy the cleanup and put away process, definitely not as much fun as the layering process in November but when it is done and I am back to “basics” I love nothing more than sitting in front of the fire with a cup of coffee to relax and enjoy my home. Here is where I think about “what do I want to do next?”. For us we already have a list of Spring 2021 projects: Painting the front porch (and I am excited to paint the porch ceiling a dark color-pictures to follow), stain our deck in the back, paint our foyer/stairs and 2nd-floor hallway and then pick out and install a new runner for the stairs. I can’t wait to share. More come January…some stuff to look forward too! I look forward to connecting again soon.
