Allow me to introduce myself

I am so excited to meet you and invite you into my home, The Verdant Home, where I bring curated, inspired pieces and style trends for you and your spaces. Together we can craft a reflection of you, what you love, and what you need in your personal style and home furnishings. I am Meredith Bookless and am thrilled to share with you all of the insider tips I learned in my 25-year career in design, style, and home furnishings.

My love for style and design blossomed at an early age and continues to grow. My college roommate loved that I transformed our quarters to look like a magazine cover, instead of a standard dorm room. Since those early days, I have continued my passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces, planters, and window boxes, along with home organization, and blending interior looks from a vast array of price points and retailers.

I was born in Hawaii and have lived across the US. Now, I live in Greenwich, CT with my husband and daughter. Todd and I met during college spring break and have clocked happy decades together. I am Mom to the super Emma B. and a petting zoo roster of animals. You will likely see their sweet faces in upcoming posts, and you can follow our pug on Instagram @itsdennisthepug.

When I am not styling and curating, I enjoy gardening, cooking, meditating, laughing with friends and family, and following the University of Kentucky basketball team.
