I love scented candles. However, not all scented candles are created equal! My all-time favorite scented candle is Sand and Fog’s Olive and Lemon. When I can find it I buy it in bulk! I currently have a secret stash in my basement and just pulled a few out yesterday and the smell is perfect. I think what I like most about scented candles and scents, in general, is the memories that evoke. 3 years ago my Husband and Daughter gave me a Capri Blue scented candle from Anthropologie. It is in the most beautiful ombre faceted jar. We have it in our summer home in Cape Cod. We have since purchased them for our home in Greenwich and they are the perfect summer candle. The best part is finding fun ways to repurpose the beautiful blue vessels. Another great summer scent is mango and grapefruit by Sand and Fog Last but not least every November I transition to balsam and cedar candle. It is the perfect winter smell and if you don’t have a real tree like me it infuses your home with pine. I think the best one out there is by Illume but there are a ton of options. And last but not least I have to mention santal scented candles….oh man, where do I start? When Crate&Barrel launched the Leanne Ford collection they had 3 different santal candles-absolutely amazing. It is Le Labo’s signature scent and the containers are unique with customizable labels. I’ve started buying the essential oil and have made my own candles, body oil, you name it I’ve probably tried it.
