Spring is in the air….

Yesterday was our first "warm" day. It had people in the spring mindset, and several had their shorts and sandals ready to go. I was excited to not have to wear a winter coat! This weekend my goal is to pull the cut greens out of my planters on our front porch and start thinking about the flowers and color mix that I will fill them with. It is one of my favorite things to do. I usually do a lot of different colors and go to the nursery with a pretty open mind and pull together a vision when I get there. I love having a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. This year I might go back to a classic color palette of white and green and look for new pillows for our adirondack chairs. No matter what it will be fun to pull together and I can't wait to share the finished result on our freshly painted porch. Did I tell you I am painting the ceiling of the porch blue? I can't wait!
