Bedroom refresh
In 1998 we still had a lot of "early marriage" furniture in our apartment. I was pretty excited when we pulled the trigger to buy our bedroom furniture. We were living in Savannah at the time and made our purchase from a local furniture store-solid cherry sleigh bed, nightstands, dresser, and armoire. It was beautiful furniture, in fact, it still is, our aesthetic has changed. Step one in updating our bedroom was new drapes. I decided to add some color back into the room and found teal velvet beauties for around $200. Next, I decided to remove our old nightstands and replaced them with the side tables we already owned. I couldn't believe they were from 1998, definitely time for an update. They are a little low but they cost nothing and gives the room an updated look. Next up will be our bed. It will soon be time to say goodbye to the sleigh bed. I'll keep you posted on that! For now, I am going to live in the space for a bit. Updating your home can be easy and doesn't have to cost you a lot of money. Do you have a room that needs a refresh? Do you have a small corner that needs some love? Reach out, I'd love to help you make that room or corner a spot you love. #lovewhereyoulive
